Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress to Benito Mussolini). There's no record of her having siblings. Luciana attended a local high school prior to matriculating to the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in the class. Luciana started out as fashion models after only two years. Her career changed soon afterwards, when by pure chance she landed her first part in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor herself, was her first husband. They completed Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960 after they tied the knot. Luciana gained custody after the divorce. They had a baby boy called Charles that was born on June of 1961. Between 1962 and the year 1970 Luciana dated Tony Athony who was an actor and producer. He was influenced by her work in the film Green Slime and based on his script and production of his own hybrid Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
