Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam having Chinese origins, and Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots deep in the American South. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of two. Her family consisted of her mother who was as a pilot in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. Olivia was primarily raised in Tokyo in Japan. While her family was relocated from Oklahoma and to numerous other areas however, it was the city of Tokyo where she got the bulk of her education. It was where she appeared in theater productions throughout this time and became a fashion model for the Japanese business. Olivia was able to move to Los Angeles when her family had returned in the United States to follow her dream to be an actress. She began her acting career with a small character. Her career then gained momentum when she was hired as Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she portrayed Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued following the television show Beyond the Break. The black belt she holds is the martial art of taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was only two years old, and was an Air Force officer. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. She attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
