Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. She has released over 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative, but it also contains influences such as punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani Difranco is widely recognized as an icon of music that is feminist. In the year 1990, she was among the first to establish her own independent record label. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother and father were both of Montreal descent. Ani's song, 32 Flavors, was composed by her, and performed by Ani.
