Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In 1956, she made her big break on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Her first appearance into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career across Broadway television and Hollywood playing more serious roles, as opposed to her perception of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto when she was three. Her childhood was spent there as well as her adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained there ever since.
